Dress up! Speak up!

VOGUE Salon

Editor-in-chief Christiane Arp launched the VOGUE Salon, an initiative to support young German designers, in the summer of 2011. Twice a year, the 'VOGUE Salon' is hosted as capsule event within the group presentation of the "Berliner Mode Salon", whose co-founder Christiane Arp is. The 'VOGUE Salon' allows young designers to show off their creativity and their growth over up to four seasons, and to present their collections to leading figures from the fashion industry and to develop their contacts in the retail sector. In the spirit of a sustainable patronisation, Christiane Arp's support extends beyond the presentation at the 'VOGUE Salon'.

AD consulting-project “Haus Weyhe”

For its first consulting project, AD worked with Ralf Schmitz real estate over the course of a year on the interior design of an apartment in a neo-classical villa in Berlin’s Dahlem neighborhood designed by the Kahlfeldt architectural office. The result was a high-end residential environment. The furnishings and fixtures were sourced primarily from artists and small manufacturers throughout the world. Part of the AD aim was to provide a platform to showcase the excellent work of these artists and artisans.

myself Supper Club

The myself Supper Club is an initiative to provide aid to Syrian refugees that anyone can organize. You simply invite friends or family to dinner at your house and ask each guest to make a donation of any size for refugees in Syria. You can then use the donation form at www.myself.de to transfer the money directly to “SOS Kinderdörfen weltweit,” our partner in the campaign. To keep the ball rolling and collect as many donations as possible, we suggest that at each meal, one guest be nominated to organize the next Supper Club.
