The company, founded in 1909 in the USA by Condé Montrose Nast, is now home to influential brands such as VOGUE, Vanity Fair, GLAMOUR, GQ, The New Yorker, and WIRED. As a subsidiary of Advance Publications, Condé Nast is one of the largest private media companies in the world. Based in London, Condé Nast International coordinates our global media business outside the USA. In 30 markets on six continents we reach with 143 magazines, over 130 websites and well more than 150 tablet and mobile apps more than 263 consumers.

Condé Nast has also set the bar for the premium segment in Germany since 1978. The current portfolio includes VOGUE, GLAMOUR, myself, GQ, AD and WIRED. Moritz von Laffert has been president and publisher of Condé Nast Germany since October 2009. In 2012, he also became vice president of Condé Nast International. The company is headquartered in Munich. The editorial office of WIRED is located in Berlin. Condé Nast Germany currently employees about 400 people.

In addition to the core business of premium media products, Condé Nast Germany is also active in other market segments. These include Condé Nast Manufaktur, our corporate publishing unit, as well as our in-house photography atelier, Studio Condé Nast. For several years now, Condé Nast has also invested in German start-ups, and is active in mergers & acquisitions internationally.
