Moritz von Laffert has been president of Condé Nast Germany since October 2009. In 2012, he also became vice president of Condé Nast International and holds a seat on the Executive Committee in London. He also serves as director of acquisitions and investments at the international level, responsible for overseeing the media group’s investments in companies outside the United States. Before joining Condé Nast, the Hamburg native held a number of jobs with the German publishing group Axel Springer, culminating in a post as managing director of the women’s and lifestyle group in Hamburg and Munich. Von Laffert completed vocational training in publishing at Axel Springer before pursuing university studies in economics and management at the London School of Economics. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of London.
