Moritz von Laffert, who has 25 years of experience in media, joined Condé Nast as the president of the German company in 2009. He is also a Vice President of Condé Nast International. In this role, Moritz von Laffert led several investments for Condé Nast International and his former or current board positions include Farfetch, Vestiaire Collective and Monoqi. Before joining Condé Nast, he held a number of executive jobs with the Germany based publishing group Axel Springer. Among other achievements, he built up the Women‘s and Lifestyle media division, which he ran for a decade as one of Axel‘s key executives. He also led several strategic M&A transactions with a focus on transforming the company. Moritz von Laffert received vocational training in publishing/media business before graduating with a BSc in Economics and a 1st class MSc with distinction in Management at the London School of Economics.
