AD Design Summit & Design Award

AD Architectural Digest Germany organizes the yearly AD Design Summit in Munich where experts and leaders of art, design and architecture discuss the latest trends and the future of design with the AD editorial team. As part of the Design Summit, the AD Design Award is given to exceptional international interior design talents in various categories. Readers can vote beforehand for their favorite designer who will be awarded the ‘AD Readers’ Award’.

Since 2013 André Pollmann has been the publisher of Condé Nast Germany. He is responsible for the commercial leadership of all of the company’s brands located in Munich (VOGUE, GLAMOUR, GQ, AD). His career started as a trainee at Axel Springer, before proceeding through several sales posts there for publications such as the car enthusiasts’ magazine Auto Bild and the German Maxim. Pollmann studied international business in Paderborn, Germany and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Before joining Condé Nast, he held several sales positions at the Hamburg publishing firm Gruner + Jahr, most recently as the general advertising director of the style group (including Brigitte, Gala, Grazia, Schöner Wohnen, Essen & Trinken, among others).

Editor-in-chief AD Architectural Digest

Oliver Jahn is editor-in-chief at AD Architectural Digest Germany. Jahn is practically a brand of his own on the international design, interiors, and architecture scene. The bibliophile – with more than 15,000 books on his shelves – studied linguistics, literature, and philosophy in Kiel, Germany. He worked at the Suhrkamp publishing house in Frankfurt and the art magazine Monopol before joining AD in 2006 – first as the editor of the architecture and design sections, then as deputy editor. In July 2011, Jahn was promoted to editor-in-chief.
